I was hoping the Cards would win it, but when it was 6-0 Nationals after 3, count me as one who thought it was over.

I watched the whole thing and it was just unbelievably epic. Just stunning. 2 outs in the 9th - one strike left in their SEASON! - and the Cards still delivered. Wow.

The Giants are my favorite NL team, but how are they going to beat a team that plays like THAT?

Game 5 was one of the greatest games I've ever seen.

And now I have an AL team I want in the WS. Not because I like them --
I like both NL teams better and hope they win.

But I want Detroit in the series, just so they can lose game 7 due
to lack of home field. It would teach Verlander a lesson. Remember,
he said he didn't try to pitch his best in the ASG, just to throw as
hard as he could. As a result, he gave up 5 runs, and the AL lost the
game. It would be poetic justice if his team lost because of his own
douchebaggery.

That said, I like both the Giants and the Cards. Go Either One!!!
